Expect a light layer of metaphor and play — not to distract you, only to soften the system enough for you to engage. Utilising pirate imagery helps soften hyper-vigilance. Metaphor reduces the sense that “something is being demanded of you.”
It gives the nervous system permission to engage without bracing and participate willingly, rather than defensively. This makes it easier to access memories, sensations, and moments of aliveness without forcing them.
Nothing is hidden. Nothing is avoided. Nothing is forced.
You remain in choice at all times. The breath does the work. The theme makes the door easier to open.
